The journey to here
It's probably worth sharing the journey to here, to help you understand why we chose Turtl.
Back in 2019, we attended a national B2B Marketing conference, where a group of protestors outside were holding up banners shouting 'Kill the PDF!'
Inside, a key note speech from Turtl founder Nick Mason, identified how businesses were typically producing content in static form, sending it in PDF format, without any knowledge of whether it was resonating.
He pointed out that the PDF is not device responsive, so mobile users simply cant read the beautiful PDF's we are producing and thirdly, we are then unable to measure in detail whether the content is working and respond accordingly.
Simply put, the PDF just isn't fit for purpose, and when your message is your medium, it's important that medium is the best it can be.

Turtl responds to all these challenges, and is designed with psychology in mind, enabling users to surf and immerse with the content, whilst being measured in the back-end through a detailed analytics dashboard that helps us improve our content.
In December 2020 we reached business case approval for a 3-month trial, which was successful, and we then entered into full contract in April 2021 for a three year period.
Independent research by Lumen shows that people spend 73% more time on Turtl docs vs PDF. Click here to read more.
For the first time ever we can properly evaluate content performance. This means we can iterate on our content and tailor it to our audience needs.
Known readers that are shown within the analytics helps us strengthen the top of the funnel, by giving that intel to BDMs to chase.
An end to uncontrolled, outdated content (we update incorrect stuff in the cloud, and every single place that document lives, is updated).
Turtl plugs in to Dynamics, ensuring customer data is managed and updated in unity. This also helps us personalise campaigns.
We are the first contractor on this platform, and the design helps us stand out from the crowd!
Built-in polls in the docs mean we’re building even more data on topics to share – this gives us more content to generate engagement post-campaign.
The use cases are endless, from white papers, to bids, onboarding to capability docs, and with SSO we’re able to keep docs internal too.
Turtl boasts some really high profile users – other huge brands we can learn from within Turtl’s creative community.
From on-hand chat, senior graphics designers to specialists coders – we’ve had every sort of support in quick-time.
