The coming months
January and February will see my role as Proposals Manager coming to an end as I submit my final tenders. During quieter times, it is my ambition to familiarise myself with current projects and pipeline for the London and Brighton offices – having been based in Welwyn, I am much more confident with this area.
My next step would be to meet with all Area Directors – David, Richard and Guy – to discuss priorities for their respective office and see how we can work together to achieve these. I can support with:

Round table events
Client liaison and events
Press and PR
Once these priorities are established, it is my intention (Covid allowing!) to visit sites across the region to make contact with teams and put faces to names. I find people are much more responsive when they form a rapport with someone; I don't want to be someone they've heard of but never met.

There are so many stories to tell; I want to gather these and tell them in the innovative and infinite ways that are available to us.
