Harri Mugford, Graduate Site Manager, Haverford West project, Cardiff

Harri joined the business in 2021 and has shown his enthusiasm to learn at every challenge presented. Harri has received excellent feedback from those around him, including the management teams who have all commented on his drive and enthusiasm.

Ella Shutteworth, Environmental Engineer (Year Out), Springwell Gardens project, Leeds

Ella is an Engineering Year Out Student who has taken the lead as Carbon Champion in our region. In a very short period of time, she has broken down what Carbon Net Zero means for the Yorkshire and North East region; used this to form our Carbon Strategy; trained each of our functions as to what is needed (including CarboniCa) and; is actively engaging with our Supply Chain to ensure that we maintain momentum on our Responsible Business journey. Ella is a real asset to our region and brings with her a unique ability to simplify key messages and then effectively communicate at various levels. Her passion for carbon reduction makes her one to watch for the future!

Zach Hamilton, Graduate Design Manager, Birmingham office

Since Zach’s involvement on the Molecular Science Building for the University of Birmingham, he has carried out charity work which involved working with Birmingham & Black Country wildlife trust. He has owned the CarboniCa system and is the point of contact for our KLH Sustainability consultant, Kirsten, who has been very vocal in how good he is. Along with this he has ensured all information is captured from site and back fed into design to change materials to ensure we comply.

In terms of design Zach has been our Revitzo champion setting up a user guide for the rest of the team and also the client team. He has also showed visiting directors how it works and how we can utilise BIM to improve our business in the future.
Above all else Zach's ‘can do’ attitude, time keeping, weekend working and willingness to help others is an asset to the project and the region.

Jessie Brown, Graduate Site Manager, North West

Jessie has made a fantastic start to her career at Morgan Sindall. She has taken on board her increased responsibility with confidence and expertise. She has grown quickly in stature and is contributing extremely well to the site teams. We are really excited to see where her career progresses over the next few years.

Laura Hayes, Graduate Site Manager, Reuben College Project, Thames Valley

Following a successful summer placement at the Old Library Site Laura has re-joined us taking a vital role as vital part of the site management team at the complex Grade 1 listed restoration project for Rueben College in Oxford. Laura’s amazing attitude and ability to constantly push herself out of her comfort zone is what makes her a rising star.

Jessie has made a huge contribution to the site set up on our Wirral Growth Company project in Birkenhead where we have made a good start and set the project up to exemplar standards.

Megan MacDonald, Assistant Site Manager, Scotland

Megan consistently demonstrates our values, a person who has goes over and above the normal expectations of them and is committed and passionate about their project. She was instrumental in the Maclay Residences, Forgewood and Cumbernauld projects achieving such a positive handover.

Megan's ability to engage young people, especially young females in the industry and at our careers events has proved very successful and she has delighted clients and attendees at events with her ambition and enthusiasm. How she has positioned her early "not so great" early education results and career choices to then demonstrating her success and achievements in this industry has proved so inspiring to young people and young females in particular.

Cam Ritchie, Graduate Site Manager, East

Cam has really stepped up above his current role to take a lead in delivering the Chantry Academy project whilst providing full support to social value engagement. Wonderful feedback has been given in respect of Cam's approach and behaviours directly by the customer at the interim CEQ.

David Naughton, Graduate Quantity Surveyor, London & Home Counties

David has spent most of his two year graduate programme based at the £20m Silvertown education project. The project had a number of challenges that the team had to deal with throughout the delivery phase of the project. David maintained a calm manner in dealing with some potentially confrontational situations and showed maturity above his experience. He has impeccable work ethic and has remained present on the site throughout the pandemic to support his team in delivery of this project. As he completes the graduate programme he is set to make a positive impact on his next project.

Alex Lockey, Assistant Site Manager, Northern Home Counties

Alex has made great progress on the CCOS project. Taking on more responsibility for key packages while combining studies and site visits to encourage learning opportunities within his peer group.
