Map your training and qualifications
Ensure you've had your existing training and qualifications mapped to those recognisable in civilian employment. Even if you think they may not be useful to you now!

Attend everything you can
In the run up to your resettlement, attend as many careers events, CV support and talks as you can - you never know who you might meet and what it could lead to.

Sell your unique skills and experience
Really look at the skills that make you human, easy to work with and dependable as part of the team, as well as the technical such as time and planning management.

Ask for help
This applies to your career questions as well as any you may have around additional support, health and wellbeing. If we don't have the answer we will find a partner in our network who does.
