DATE: COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT April 2026 Barnardo’s Big Build Tuesday 21 st April – Wednesday 29 th April We had been in conversation with Barnardo’s for some time about supporting the NEET students they work with through practical work experience. However, as we had not yet started work on site, we needed to think outside of the box. In place of on - site work experience, we put together a programme at Anerley Town Hall, inviting a carpenter from Avi to guide the students in building three different benches. These will be donated to a hospice once the final touches are completed and plaques have been added.
