EDUCATION SPOTLIGHT DATE: Ravens Wood School, Bromley Friday 30 th of January We supported Ravens Wood School Careers Fair in Bromley, engaging with students from Year 7 to Year 13. It was encouraging to see so much interest in construction, with many students already connected to the industry through family members and keen to learn more. We spoke about the different routes into construction and the importance of gaining work experience early, showing there are multiple pathways into a rewarding career in our industry. DATE: LOCAL PROCURMENT AND ECONOMY SPOTLIGHT Bromley – Meet The Buyer Event Wednesday 28 th of January We attended a Meet the Buyer construction event organised by the London Borough of Bromley at Bromley Central Library. The event provided a valuable platform for local suppliers, contractors, and service providers to connect directly with major buyers in the construction sector. It offered a strong opportunity to engage with SMEs from Bromley and the surrounding areas, helping to strengthen local supply chains and build new relationships that support future project delivery. Participating in sessions like this reinforces our commitment to working with local businesses, encouraging collaboration, and ensuring that upcoming developments continue to generate meaningful opportunities within the community. EDUCATION SPOTLIGHT DATE: Croydon College Career Insights Tuesday 27 th of January We visited Croydon College, where we delivered a career insight talk to 150 students studying Construction Management and Multi - Skills. With the majority of students keen to progress into apprenticeships once they complete college, we provided step - by - step guidance on how to apply. We also discussed the importance of work experience, explored university option, year - out placements and graduate programmes. Our engagement with Croydon College links closely to the exciting Crystal Palace National Sports Centre redevelopment, highlighting opportunities that will arise from this project. Further engagement with the college is already being explored, and we are looking forward to building on this relationship. A great morning spent enlightening students about the rewarding careers they can build within our industry. January 2026
