DATE: EMPLOYABILITY SPOTLIGHT Ark Walworth - Mock Interviews Friday 28 th November We interviewed six outstanding students, each preparing for their next steps into the world of work and exploring apprenticeship pathways within the construction industry. Their enthusiasm, confidence, and clear sense of direction about the disciplines they want to pursue after sixth form were truly inspiring. We also talked about the importance of work experience — how getting hands - on exposure early can build confidence, open doors, and help them gain a real understanding of what a future career in construction could look like. EDUCATION SPOTLIGHT DATE: Rockmount Primary School Friday 7th of November We met with Rockmount Primary School in Croydon, to finalise details about our upcoming visit to the school with Encore Environment our waste management subcontractor on Crystal Palace National Sports Centre. On Monday 10th November, we delivered three workshops to children in KS1 and KS2. First, we introduced our business and asked pupils if they use the National Sports Centre and followed on to sharing details about the exciting Crystal Palace National Sports Centre project plans. We set KS2 an arts challenge — to design logos representing the Centre, which we will bring together into a creative collage. November 2025 Our partners Encore Environment joined us to run their Waste Wise Kids programme with KS1 and KS2, exploring recycling and repurposing everyday materials to make a model inspired by the National Sports Centre. We engaged with over 200 children. We will be heading back to Rockmount School in the new year with Encore to see the children’s fantastic models and artwork.
