Situated in Gorleston, Norfolk, on the most Easterly part of the UK coastline, The James Paget University Hospital (JPUH) provides the best possible care to a population of 250,000 residents across Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Waveney, as well as the many visitors to this part of East Anglia.
Named after the famous surgeon, the James Paget Hospital officially opened on 21 July 1982.
They were established as a third wave of NHS Trusts in 1993 and became a Foundation Trust in 2006.
With around 500 inpatient beds, the hospital provides a full range of general acute services as well as a number of specialist services.
With over 4000 staff, they are committed to being outstanding in everything they do, caring for their patients, each other and themselves.
