**OUR EXPERIENCE IN DELIVERING ALL THROUGH SCHOOLS**
Bringing pre-school, primary and secondary education together has become an increasingly common strategy for education investment.
These campuses provide a hub for the community and enable pupils to transition through the stages on the same campus, right through to sixth form.
As these schools are often much bigger, it requires careful thought and planning to identify the right sites and arrange the layout of the schools so that its daily logistical needs are easily met by the infrastructure around it.
Their design has a big impact on achievements, so it's vital for all the stakeholders to be at the table early.
Having all the experts together at the earliest possible stage ensures design is fine tuned towards positive impact on student and teaching experiences and performance, as well as centering around the best value and most sustainable solutions.

Tonyrefail School | £35.2mTonyrefail, South Wales
Delivered for RCT County BC, Tonyrefail School is a new 3-19 school on the site of the existing school.
The project, procured through the SEWSCAP framework, was delivered across four simultaneous phases of work that could not impact the existing school. This included a new primary school, refurbishment of the existing Grade II listed school to provide a sixth form, a new secondary school extension, and then finally connection of the whole site and installation of a new car park.
As part of the project, the team also upgraded the existing leisure centre that sat at the end of the site. During the build, the team managed working with the local community, the live school, and also the heritage officers to ensure the careful refurbishment of the listed school building.
Morgan Sindall have been very welcoming, making us feel very involved. I'm flabbergasted at the level of attention and care paid to the running of an existing school, ensuring the continuation in the quality of their education, that has been extremely impressive.

St Mark's C of E School | £35.2mSouthampton, Hampshire
Delivered through the Pagabo framework, St Mark's School is a brand new all-through school for Southampton City Council.
The project delivers 900 additional school places and is part of Southampton's drive to meet the needs of its growing population.
This new campus includes a pre-school nursery, 2FE primary school, a secondary school and sixth form. It's large sports hall, which was initially meant to be delivered after the school completion, was cleverly programmed in to the main build, meaning it was delivered months ahead of schedule. As a nod to the sites Victorian heritage, the primary school is designed with a pitched roof, and has reused materials in the stone framed windows and string courses.
It has been a truly collaborative approach from day one and making sure that aligning the school value objectives with the design team has led to the project being a big success and leaving a lasting legacy.

Glebe Farm School | £32.1mMilton Keynes
As part of the Inspiring Futures through Learning (IFtL) multi-academy trust and procured through the PAGABO framework, Glebe Farm is the first all-through school in Milton Keynes with capacity for 1,530 pupils.
The new school is located on a 95,000m2 site – an area larger than 13 football pitches – set amongst hundreds of newly built houses. As Milton Keynes' first fossil-free new build school, it is completely gas free and uses air source heat pumps which absorb heat from the outside air, providing all the energy needed for air and hot water.
Energy-saving technology such as zero carbon site hoarding and an onsite solar powered generator were employed during the construction, minimising any impacts on the local environment.
This major new school is essential for the future of this fast growing area of the city. The whole site has been designed to have a minimal impact on the environment and will provide access to high-quality facilities for the local community.

Cromwell Community College | £14.6mChatteris, Cambridgeshire
Delivered through the Cambridgeshire County Council framework, Cromwell Community College is a 1FE secondary school expansion and a new 2FE primary school.
The new campus extensions were delivered throughout the COVID-19 lockdowns, which whilst meant the surrounding school was empty for large periods, did mean the team overcame challenges of material and labour shortages to still deliver on time.
The new college is the first school in the county funded by the council to provide all-through education, from ages four to 18-years old, in a bid to meet a growing demand for student places with high-end educational facilities.
This is a tremendous landmark for us and we have a lovely new primary provision building on the site and a host of fantastic facilities. We have an expanded college site to be proud of and one which will serve our community well into the 21st century."
