**OUR EXPERIENCE IN DELIVERING PRIMARY CARE FACILITIES**
Supporting our NHS Trusts and private practices to deliver the best care in the community is vital.
As our communities grow, these facilities become increasingly vital in supporting the health and wellbeing of their patients.
Putting patients, and the health professionals , at the heart of the delivery is vital within the design and construction process too.
To do this effectively, collaboration between contractors, Trusts and consultants, from design to aftercare and beyond, is a non-negotiable. It really matters.
Our teams have delivered acute, mental health and community healthcare projects for NHS Trusts across the UK. Ranging from brand new building construction, change of use, refurbishment or tackling challenges such as RAAC. These solutions also include using digital technologies or modern methods of construction (MMC) to increase construction efficiency.

Gorton Hub | £20.3mManchester City Council (North West Construction Hub)
A purpose-built learning, health, and community hub which brings together a range of public services such as GP practice, pharmacy, library, housing and adult education under one roof for the first time.
The three-story, steel framed facility will lower the carbon footprint of multiple services who are currently located at separate and inefficient sites. It is the new home for The Gorton Medical Centre GP practice, NHS community health teams, social care teams and a pharmacy.
It provides services to increase and drive the workforce in the area, offering adult education sessions in English, Maths, ICT and ESOL, along with a Jobcentre Plus. A new library space is also included, creating a modern and vibrant safe space for learning, reading, and studying.
This isn’t just about convenience of visiting one place to access all of these support services, but it’s based on the understanding that all of these support services are interconnected. Housing and good health, good employment, education and social care.

Woodside Health & Care Centre | £20mGlasgow
Involved from concept design stage, Morgan Sindall were the appointed design and build contractor to manage the delivery of this new build health and care centre for NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.
A broad range of services are provided from the centre including: eight GP practices, children's services, district nursing, health visiting, alcohol and drug recovery services, a day care centre for the elderly, and a dental practice.
The exterior features a number of precast concrete panels displaying artwork. Consultation with the community informed the striking design of each panel, drawing inspiration from local historical architecture, the nearby canal, and the culturally diverse backgrounds of local residents.
I'm delighted to see this new centre open its doors to patients and service users. It's the latest Health and Care Centre being opened in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde area and again demonstrates our commitment to improving and modernising services.

Eastwood Health & Care Centre | £15mEast Renfrewshire
The Eastwood Health & Care Centre brings together a range of primary and community care services, previously operating from a variety of premises across East Renfrewshire, into a single purpose built facility.
Across three floors, the facility houses clinical support services, GP practices, podiatry, physiotherapy and mental health services for NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.
The team developed a relationship with Isobel Mair School, an ASN school which was formerly located on the site of the new health centre, for the duration of the project. In addition to a range of curriculum and sponsorship activities, the team supported familiarisation visits to the new facility which will be used by many of the pupils.
What we see now: a wonderful, state of the art new facility that is already proving to be such an asset to the local community. Not only will the building provide first rate healthcare facilities, but it will also house many social care services and provide space for voluntary groups.

The centre has been designed to be much more than a simple replacement of the existing facility. It is a prominent site providing the local community with a modern, state of the art healthcare facility fit for the 21st Century.

Doncaster Capital Works | £5.3mDoncaster and Bassetlaw NHS Foundation Trust
The team have been great and we are impressed with the level of support in achieving the clients aims. We have worked collaboratively as a team throughout the project.
We delivered a number of backlog maintenance projects across three live hospital sites: Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Bassetlaw District Hospital and The Montagu Hospital, Mexborough.
Works included building services improvements, roof repairs, emergency lighting in corridors and ensuring safe and continuous critical-care electrical and ventilation supplies. Due to the nature of the works, the Client had preferred suppliers for works elements and, where required, we engaged with these suppliers to support them onto our approved supplier’s database. Once approved our team worked with the supply chain to develop the design and ensure drawings were signed-off. We liaised with the offsite manufacturers where relevant, i.e. for the chillers, to ensure power supplies/water supplies were sufficient.
