**OUR EXPERIENCE IN DELIVERING TRANSPORT FACILITIES, DEPOTS AND STATIONS**
Delivering the supporting hubs that keeps our nation moving.
Whilst our sister company delivers the large scale infrastructure such as roads, bridges and rail, we work alongside them to deliver the supporting hubs, depots and stations for the sector.
So from the delivery of bus stations, car parks, highways depots and salt barns, we are able to hit the ground running.
Using our Intelligent Solutions approach, we're able to tailor the design and construction method to match time, cost and carbon requirements of your scheme.
Merthyr Bus Station | £12.6mMerthyr Tydfil, South Wales
The construction of a new electric bus station and apron, delivered under the SEWSCAP framework.
Supporting the Welsh Government target to electrify public transport by 2028, the new Merthyr Tydfil Bus Station is a leading Project in Wales, electrifying the whole station to become the first facility in Wales that allows for the charging of electric vehicles on-site.
Not only does it have a striking designed roof, but by applying Circular Economy principles, the team were able to use materials such as recycled natural stone and timber soffits within the design. The building was also constructed in layers allowing for easy maintenance in the future and easier deconstruction at the end of its life.
We are thrilled with the building and know that our residents and visitors will be too. It looks absolutely fantastic and will provide a modern, clean and impressive welcome to people arriving in the town centre.

St Margaret's Bus Station | £11.9mLeicester, Leicestershire
The demolition and reconstruction of St Margaret's Bus Station for Leicester City Council.
The new bus station has been completely transformed with a refreshed, striking look largely down to the new fully glazed envelope in the concourse and the curved aluminium roof. It boasts a spacious layout with a new café and newsagents on the ground floor; whilst new council offices are located on the first floor. The station also provides an improved digital passenger information board and increased capacity with 24 available bays.
Carefully designed, the Net Zero Carbon bus station used the existing frame, reclaimed materials and renewable such as solar panels to achieve its EPCA+ rating.
What we think has happened here, is something truly special, truly unique and a UK first in that we have developed the country’s first net zero carbon bus station.

Multi-storey car park | £6.9mBurton Hospital, West Midlands
A new 499 space multi-storey car park at the heart of the hospital estate.
As part of the wider strategy to boost the patient, visitor and staff experience at Burton Hospital, the team have completed the construction of a new four storey car park which provides 499 parking spaces, 20 of which have new electrical charging points. The car park which was constructed with a steel frame and concrete planks also includes a lift and state of the art CCTV cameras.
The project was sandwiched between an accommodation block for nurses and a treatment centre with live theatres. This meant that ensuring minimal disruption to the neighbours and patients was vital. During the groundworks, we changed from sheet piling to a king post system to minimise the vibration on site.

Swansgate Car Park | £5.3mWellingborough
Handed over to the Borough Council of Wellingborough two weeks early, the complex overhaul of Swansgate Shopping Centre Car Park has revitalised this structure for many years to come.
As well as adding more than 200 spaces for local shoppers, the team contributed £2.75 million in social value investment and volunteered 100 hours to community projects. Repairs were carefully planned around 2,000 concrete failure points, with 28,500 sacrificial zinc anodes installed along with the application of FerroGard corrosion inhibitor to mitigate future rebar corrosion and extend the life of the car park.
New CCTV was also installed, making the facility a safer, cleaner and structurally sound car park.
A much cleaner, safer and more attractive place to park. I'd like to put on record my admiration for the way this project has been managed from start to finish during what has been a difficult time for each and every one of us.
