Quality Management Plan
Quality Management Plan (QMP) describes how quality aspects of the contract will be managed to achieve the project objectives. It is a live document that should be reviewed at regular intervals by the contract project / site manager and appointed quality representative. Q PLN 01 Quality Management Plan should be amended as appropriate to reflect progress of the works and any changes in quality requirements. Revisions of this plan will be communicated as per the distribution list of the PM PLN 01 Project Execution Plan (PEP) Part 1.
The project manager will be responsible for ensuring that the contract is being managed and delivered in accordance with this document, which is primarily concerned with the management and control of all aspects of materials and workmanship. Subcontract works will also comply with the content of this document.
Ensure requirements and expectations for quality management of the project are written into contract including subcontracts and consider relevant quality requirements / assessments in Q PLN 01 Quality Management Plan
Define subcontractors quality requirements as per SUB FRM 09 Subcontract Quality Requirements guidance, you may refer to Quality Plan – Subcontractor as an example of best practice.
Quality Management Plan will define where the documents and records are kept that confirms how the project is managing quality and delivering on the quality objectives. The documents and records are generally kept electronically in Site Information Management System (SIMS)

Lessons learnt - the project manager will be responsible for managing the lessons learnt process in accordance with Q STD 04 Lessons Learnt Standard and for maintaining a programme of lessons learnt reviews, lessons learnt should be recorded on a monthly basis in the project review in Site Information Management System (SIMS)
