**A word from the Project Director**
Construction can have a huge impact on communities, both positive and negative, but we are so proud of the positive contribution the Manor Road Quarter has made to the London Borough of Newham. This report highlights the incredible work we have delivered in partnership with our Supply Chain, demonstrating the huge impact we have made to people, the environment and local economy.
Our three-year journey in Newham saw over 400 local people working on the project; the creation of 38 apprenticeships; work experience for 40 local young people; over 50 educational engagement events and so much more.
This project has been exceptional in terms of social, economic and environmental impact, helping us to generate over £14m worth of social value; I hope you enjoy reading our journey as much as we have enjoyed our time working in Newham.
