Social Value Highlights
Just some of the activities which took place...
We are incredibly proud of the last project we delivered on the Manor Road Quarter development – The Steel Warriors gym equipment.
In recent years, we have seen a noticeable surge in knife crime. Knives destroy lives and has an immeasurable impact on our communities which is why the Manor Road team went the extra mile to demonstrate how knives can be used in a positive way.
We partnered with Rebel Strength, who installed the Steel Warrior knife initiative on the Manor Road Quarter Project. Rebel Strength melt down knives taken off the streets by Police and recycle the steel into outdoor street gym equipment.
This installation provides residents and the Newham community, free to enjoy, outdoor gym equipment made from confiscated and surrendered weapons – Now, this is delivering real Social Innovation.
