Retirement gifts

We recognise that retirement is a significant time in an employee's life and that this milestone should be acknowledged. We mark the occasion by rewarding employees with a monetary gift when they retire. This is awarded via the People Portal.

Retirement run down

This period allows time to adjust to the prospect of not having to work each day and to allow other interests to be pursued and developed prior to stopping work altogether. Full salary is paid during the rundown period.

Two months prior to retirement: Working week reduced to four days a week

One month prior to retirement: Working week reduced to three days week. Please speak to your local business unit HR team to arrange this run down.

Talking retirement online

Talking Retirement Online is an online training programme for all Morgan Sindall Construction employees looking for more detailed information as part of their retirement planning.

The course has been developed by Retirement Education Services and presented by Angela Rippon. The course features interviews with 14 expert speakers on over 40 different retirement planning topics.
